Co-Editors:  Heidi Zetzer (heidi.zetzer@ucsb.edu) & Linnea Burk (linnea.burk@gmail.com)

Contributing Editors: Jennifer Schwartz & Kim Lampson

New Issues:

The APTC newsletter is published bi-annually, with Summer/Fall and Winter/Spring issues. All APTC members receive this publication electronically via the APTC Listserv when it is published, and members and non-members can access the APTC Bulletin on our website.

A call for proposals will be sent out on the APTC Listserv biannually. Prospective contributors will be asked to submit a proposal with a list of authors (indicate which authors are students) and email addresses to the editorial team by a given deadline. The editorial team will review the proposals and let you know if your proposal was accepted.  If your proposal is accepted, you will be provided a deadline to submit your full article.  Your article will then be reviewed by the editorial team, and revisions may be requested before publication.

We welcome all types of narratives (first, second, and third person) infused with references to the literature.  The idea is to add citations that inform your narrative, add substance to your story or perspective, provide guidance to readers, or connect your experiences to others’ experiences.

Articles may range in length from 250 to 1500 words.

The maximum length is 1500 words.

Students may serve as co-authors on the articles.  However, the APTC member must be a co-author and must actively guide the writing process, including preparing the article for submission in accordance with The APTC Bulletin policies regarding length and adherence to APA style.

If you have any questions about the newsletter or would like to contribute articles, please contact co-editors Heidi Zetzer (hzetzer@ucsb.edu) and Linnea Burk (linnea.burk@gmail.com).
